Xenon Arc

The Xenon Arc Test, also known as Xenon Weathering or Xenon Aging Test, is an accelerated weathering test used to simulate the effects of long-term outdoor exposure on materials and products. This test is particularly valuable for assessing the durability and resistance of materials to environmental factors such as sunlight, heat, moisture, and UV radiation.

The Xenon Arc Test involves exposing samples of materials or products to a controlled and accelerated aging environment inside a xenon arc chamber. Xenon arc lamps emit light that closely mimics the solar spectrum, including UV radiation, visible light, and infrared radiation. The samples are subjected to cycles of intense light and elevated temperatures, simulating the natural conditions materials might experience outdoors over an extended period.
